A bit about me

Hello! My name is Zoe, and I can pretty safely say that something in my brain chemistry changed at a few different points before I'd even graduated elementary school: ​when I was gifted a Flip video camera; when I took my first cello lesson; and when my fourth-grade teacher told me she thought I could be an author someday. Since then, both storytelling and playing, listening to & learning about music have become my natural states of being. I want to keep following my natural instinct to investigate, research and report on in-depth news stories and hopefully, along the way, introduce audiences to my favorite new music and local acts.

My philosophy? Investigative reporting and music journalism might serve different purposes, but they both have the power to make the world and people's lives a little brighter. Why choose just one?
